About My Learning

‘My Learning’ provides access to the learning platform and the learning courses available to you and your learning record are displayed. Click on My Learning and enter you User Name and Passwork to enter the LMS. To register your interest in the Gastro-e-Learn site please visit the Contact Us page and leave your details we will provide further information on how to access the learning on release.

Current learning materials are categorised as follows;

CORE ENDOSCOPY - FINAL DEVELOPMENT PHASE - this course material has now been adapted for national access on the e-Learning for Healthcare website. All NHS staff will be able to access this material free of charge from October 2015. Please go to https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk and register if you want to see these materials.
GASTROENTEROLOGY SCE - ACCESS TO COURSE APPLICANTS (use details provided)
SLATE PROJECT - EVALUATION PHASE (access is provided to currently to authors and the editorial team and to participants on the UGI SPRINT programme - use details provided).

Gastro-e-Learn is an online resource accessible anytime, anywhere. The developed course materials are listed by course titles to help you to rapidly find the learning materials you want. Your personal learning page will provide details of your learning history and allows you to resume your learning where you left it allowing flexibility in when you learn.

EVIDENCE OF YOUR LEARNING – Fulfilling your professional needs.

The Learning Management System (LMS) will automatically track all your online learning. The overview of your progress can be exported as evidence of your learning to other e-portfolios to help you to meet your appraisal and revalidation needs  as easily as possible.

Gastro-e-Learn provides an online learning environment for GI Health professionals. As the site develops we hope to develop more interactive features and suggestions as to how the interactive learning materials can be used in other educational settings. We welcome ideas and suggestions.
